Roussillon is a very picturesque and famous village in the Luberon, perched on a hill, and its red earth still produces the famous 'ochres', natural pigments. The village is frequented year-round, offers a weekly market, and has many shops: bakery, butcher, convenience store, hairdresser... and a myriad of craft stalls. There is no shortage of restaurants, as well as bistros with terraces offering splendid views. On the practical side, there is a post office, a dentist, a doctor...

About 10 minutes away is the town of Apt, which has a very popular weekly market in Provence, supermarkets, schools, a middle school, as well as a cinema, swimming pool, all administrative offices, and a hospital.
