I live and operate in the Central Charente, in and around Angoulême, the administrative capital of the Department. It is a true historical, cultural and gastronomic paradise, with a wealth of activites and interests to suit all ages, temperaments and budgets. The landscape is inviting, the walks too numerous to mention, and the local markets a constant source of delight for foodies and antique collectors alike. The weather is stunning, hot but not too hot, and the atmosphere is unusually clear, giving fantastic views by day and an astronomical feast by night. The area is a gold mine of architectural beauty, from Roman simplicity to Charentaise and Barroque excesses. With the advent of the High Speed Train line (July 2017), the LGV, should you tire of the local area, 90 minutes will get you to Paris, and 30 to Bordeaux. Poitiers, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Royan, Perigueux, Bergerac, Limoges, and their airports are all a 90 minute car trip away. The Charente is easy to get to by road rail and air, and is very well served by all the low cost carriers.

Having decided to make the Charente my home some 20 years ago, it seemed a logical step to return to the Property market. My extensive local knowledge, from livinging and raising my family here, coupled with my previous property career in London, was a marriage made in heaven ! I previously worked with leading estate agents, property developers, designers and finally set up and ran my own interior design company, so I truely understand property and client needs. It felt like coming home when I took the decision to join Leggett! I try to favour properties with charm and style, and also offer a personalised property search service, so feel sure I can find you your ideal house, what ever your specific requirements or needs might be.
