I live in a small village just outside Carcassonne in the midst of the lovely Aude countryside,

About my area

When my daughters left home for university my partner and I decided it was time we had a change
too! We left behind our busy professional life in the UK and moved to a renovated farmhouse in the
Charente. After nine very pleasant years we wanted to explore further afield, and found ourselves
drawn to the longer summers and the Mediterranean climate. Carcassonne and the Aude have so
