The chairlift is around 150m from the door of the property and this drops you up above Les Menuires, which gives you direct access into the full 3 Valleys ski area. The blue run, also called Bettex, that comes down from Les Menuires usually remains open until the end of the ski season and there are incredible off-piste itineraries that finish in Le Bettex from the Masse ski area.
Le Bettex is a traditional mountain village through which the Doron river runs, having started its journey up in Val Thorens. Many locals reside here, but there are also numerous catered ski chalets and hotels and the southern end of the village has seen a lot of development over the past 5-10 years. Les Menuires is under 5km away by road (a 7-minute drive with no traffic and clear roads), and St Martin is 7km in the other direction with its array of restaurants.
