The lake is predominantly a carp fishing lake with carp known to be over 50lbs with an average weight close to 30lbs. There are estimated to be in the region of 130 carp within the lake. In addition there are catfish known to be over 100lbs as well as perch and roach.
There is a secondary pond to the edge of the main lake that with works will provide a good stock pond environment.
Woodland
Situated to the rear of the lake is a large (approx 10 acre) woodland of young oak trees. This vast area of woodland provides for a beautiful back drop to the lake as well as offering a never-ending supply of fuel and the possibility of a secondary income with camping/glamping.
