History
If you are interested in history, there is evidence that an important Roman road passed through Beaubery to connect Suin to Bois-Ste-Marie and then Dun Beaubery.
In the Saône et Loire department there is a lot of Romanesque art and churches.
Nearby is a medieval Chateau, Le chateau de Courchevel, which dates back to 1313.
In the village, you will find a memorial to the resistance. Beaubery was a resistance hub and the first French resistance village during the second world war.
Environmental quality
Very good air quality. No intensive soil cultivation and no pesticides in the Charolais bocage.
