About my area

Our area is a beautiful part of France with steep hills and deep valleys. It nestles between the rivers Lot and Aveyron. The rivers Tarn and Garonne are nearby. There are a number of beautiful towns on the banks of the Aveyron. Notable amongst these are Najac with its imposing mediaeval castle , Villefranche de Rouerge and St Antonin Noble Val, which has been a popular location for such films as Charlotte Grey and The 100 foot Journey. Bastide towns abound and the area is simply dripping with history. It is within easy reach of Toulouse Airport and the railway stations of Toulouse, Montauban and Cahors

About me

I live in St Projet with my wife Elaine. We have had a house there since 2012, but spent 9 years in the United Arab Emirates before finally moving in full time in 2018. Prior to joining Leggetts, I was a Project Director in the Construction Industry, delivering major projects varying from defence related facilities to commercial facilities. For a time I was also involved in the delivery of the new Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi. I am very interested in the history of the region, particularly the fact that much of it is common to both France and the United Kingdom. My other interests include photography and tracing my family history. I have discovered some very interesting ancestors! We have two sons and a daughter and 4 grandsons, all of whom live in the United Kingdom
