About me
Born and educated in Paris, I spent my youth in Montmartre and in the 16th arrondissement before studying Civil Engineering in the Latin Quarter near St Germain des Prés. I started work in the project planning department of a large engineering design consultancy and was in charge of hotels and high-end residential complexes in France and abroad. After this experience on major building sites, I went to Fontainebleau to do an MBA. Here I met my British wife and learnt about the world of finance. After some years in banks and investment houses in London and Paris, I set up the UK branch of an up-market French estate agency fifteen or so years ago. We were based in Knightsbridge and helped our customers buy some of the best homes all over France. Having met Trevor Leggett several times at the French property shows in London, when I decided to return home to Paris, there was the opportunity to develop the market there for Leggett Immobilier. There is now a team of us looking after Paris and its region (Ile de France). We are proud to be helping those looking for a pied-a-terre, a permanent home or an investment in my beloved city or, for a more relaxed French lifestyle, in the best of the towns and villages within reach of international schools, airports, trains and the outdoor life offered by the regions' woodlands, rivers and golf-courses.
