About my area

Our family home is now in Seez, giving easy access to the snow sure resorts of Val d’Isère and Tignes in around 20 minutes. Tignes in the summer is wonderful with so many activities on the lake. We are seeing a huge trend in people coming to the mountains to escape the heat of the summer elsewhere in Europe. The North facing family resort of Sainte Foy has been an ideal starting ground for our kids to find their ski legs. We often hop into the Les Arcs system via Villaroger to enjoy the often empty pistes even in February. A new high-speed lift is planned for next year. The Funiculaire from Bourg Saint Maurice offers an alternative rapid access into Les Arcs 1600. There is nothing like spring skiing in the morning and spending the afternoon in the garden or park. In the summer the resorts turn into a mecca for cyclists both road and downhill, and the open-air pool in Bourg where you can spend the entire day is a great place to relax under a tree. Living In Seez our local resort is la Rosière, hop on the Ecudets chair lift which leaves from around 5 minutes drive or take the bus from the centre of Seez . It’s fascinating that the snow can be so different on the Italian side. Summer or winter is a lovely change to hop over the boarder for a traditional Italian Pizza and Gellato. Whether you opt for the ease of an in-resort property or the affordability and flexibility of a something in one of the smaller villages down the valley, it really is a magical place to live year-round and has so much to offer. About me

I have lived in the Upper Tarentaise for over 25 years, and have an in depth knowledge of the ski resorts and surrounding villages. I have been working in property management and renovation, so have a good understanding of buildings in general. We have purchased and renovated 2 family homes and have 4 sports mad children. I am delighted to now have the time to develop my hobby of finding dream properties and guiding buyers and sellers through the sales process into a day job for Leggett.
