We here are all thankful for the fortuitous discovery of the valley of Méribel by the original handful of British ski pioneers and for their vision which led to the birth of skiing in this valley and its development, and ultimately the development of the world renowned Three Valleys ski domain which surrounds it. Known locally as the heart of the three valleys Méribel has retained a unique charm and character born of a sensitive approach to architecture and town planning throughout those early years. Today Méribel resort is a beautiful example of harmony between well-appointed and beautifully designed chalets and apartments and a modern, sophisticated ski-lift system. This legacy extends today throughout the entire valley. The delightful village of Les Allues and the hamlets scattered along the valley have become home to many seeking an outdoor lifestyle with break taking views and magnificent scenery all year long. The Méribel valley is now a thriving international community with year round amenities and services. The perfect place for a change of life for a while, or perhaps even a little longer.

About me

I had the good fortune more than 35 years ago to become friends with the son of one of Méribel’s original founders in, of all places, New Zealand. A newly qualified enthusiastic ski instructor at the time I didn’t have to give much consideration to his request to lend a hand and join him here in the Méribel. And so began a lifetime love affair with the place that has been my permanent home ever since. Through the years Méribel has changed enormously but has miraculously escaped the excesses that plagued many other ski areas in France. Nothing would give me more pleasure than to share with you my intimate knowledge of this beautiful valley and the wonderful people that live here to help you find a home or investment opportunity that you might be looking for, so that you too can enjoy what I genuinely think is one of this earth’s most special places.
