About my area
I am lucky to live in the beautiful historic market town of St Jean D’Angely in the heart of the sunny Charente Maritime. Understandably one of the most popular regions in France, the Charente Maritime really does have something for everyone. Its fabulous coastline, with miles of sandy beaches, its famous islands (Ile de Re, Ile D’Oleron) and coastal towns such as La Rochelle, Royan and Fouras are ever popular. Inland, the fields of vines and sunflowers provide a great backdrop for some beautiful Romanesque Churches and architecture. We also have a wealth of interesting towns and villages such as Cognac, Angouleme and Saintes. It is easily accessible from many airports (Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Poitiers and Limoges) and well served by train and motorway.
About me
I moved to France to try a new way of life and culture, and have never regretted it. Based here for several years, I have enjoyed setting up and running a successful Chambres d’hotes business. This has given me the opportunity to enjoy all that living in France offers, and to integrate fully into French life. The weather (the Charente Maritime is the second sunniest region of France), the culture, the cuisine, markets, brocantes, the countryside and certainly the coast are all a constant pleasure, as are the friendly and welcoming Charentais people. The real pleasure of working as an Agent Immobilier is sharing this experience with clients, helping them to make their dream of a holiday home or life in France a reality!
